Forum Post: WHY Occupy Wall Street Flyers To Encourage NON-Occupiers

We're just a small group of OWS ppl who started this flyer to encourage non-occupiers to join OWS! We know you want everyone to join, but sometimes you just can't seem to find the right points.

Here are some talking points to encourage others:

WHY OCCUPY WALL STREET?

IF YOU CARE ABOUT YOUR MONEY, OCCUPY

• Did you know that the FEDERAL RESERVE that holds all taxpayers hard earned money is actually operated and controlled by ONE THIRD OF the BANKS in America? CONGRESS HAS NO SAY in where our money goes or even knows where it goes because the Federal Reserve refuses to disclose this information, NO ONE KNOWS WHERE OUR MONEY IS

• The Federal Reserve lent our money to Central Banks all over the world including New Zealand and Japan INTEREST FREE, yet when the LEHMAN BROTHERS went bankrupt, they REFUSED to lend them MONEY, CAUSING THE ECONOMIC RECESSION IN AMERICA.

• 16 Trillion Dollars of taxpayer money was borrowed INTEREST FREE by banks to help our economy and help banks loan money to people – but WE GET CHARGED 10-20% INTEREST, not to mention WE CAN’T EVEN GET A LOAN WHEN WE GO BANKRUPT

-The BANKS then BUY OUR DEBT - our US Treasury Notes from our INTEREST FREE LOANS, then WE PAY THEM INTEREST for debt THEY HELPED CREATE, this is no secret, people just don’t know

• All politicians are being funded directly by corporations and banks, we no longer have a government for the people

    -Who do you want to look after YOUR MONEY, a government owned by banks or just straight up banks?
  

IF YOU CARE ABOUT THE ENVIRONMENT, OUR FUTURE, OCCUPY

• Scientists believe peak oil (production peak and decline there after) has already happened in 2010. We cannot sustain ourselves with dirty energy polluting our planet

• In Asia there are ELECTRIC CARS. From 1942 to 1945, President Roosevelt halted production of vehicles from GM, we can do this again, and create a healthier future without oil

-There is Aluminum and Mercury in every Vaccine in the World - both are considered neurotoxins that are harmful to people. This is no secret and is found in the ingredients for vaccines. There is no reason to use Mercury or Aluminum. Stop Vaccine companies from poisoning our kids!

IF YOU CARE ABOUT HUMAN RIGHTS, OCCUPY

• The Federal Reserve is loaning money to governments such as the Sudanese dictator and other dictators all over the world, funding human rights violations such as torture

• By using OUR TAXES, WE are FUNDING AND SUPPORTING HUMAN RIGHTS VIOLATIONS

• They are poisoning our waters – Flouride is actually a waste product from steel processing and is bought by state governments with TAX MONEY 7 Million dollars worth and pouring it into our tap water

• How is it that the America has the right to go into other people’s countries and wreak havoc then just leave? If Iran just decided it wanted to go to war with America and started dropping bombs on us one day, would we go okay with that? WE AS AMERICANS DON’T SUPPORT INVASIONS
