Forum Post: Why isnt this in Washington DC?

I can appreciate the idea here, but the De-regulations, the bailouts, the tax loopholes, the outsourcing....

It all came from D.C., Wallstreet is crooked as hell because D.C. lets them, created the situation that allowed the top 1% to have the power, so why isn't D.C. the home of the occupation? D.C. is where the changes have to happen.

All these problems can be solved if we get corporate bribery OUT of politics. that is the first step

I agree it is Congress that needs to be the focus of your protest! We are all greedy and if Congress allowed me to now pay federal taxes I would take them up on it! Take your Movement to Washington D C and while you assemble register VOTERS as you can best make changes at the Voting Booth!

There has been a separate occupation in DC. Started on October 6, 2011.
