Michael Moore (don't flame me please, I like the guy) was on the Rachel Maddow show the other night and said this is really a "majority movement". It made perfect sense to me. Just seems like it would be less scary to the TV stations that are sooooo against this movement and saying it everynight. We (unfortunately) have the numbers on our side, let's not scare anyone away. Am I wrong?
A lot of people don't understand the 99% label. I think they take it too literally, although OWS has been getting a lot of flak for it, at least on these boards. I don't think it's supposed to mean 99% literally, it's more of a metaphor. Know what I mean?
Because it's not and you don't. You've deluded yourselves into believing your own 99% BS. You're more like the 10% at the very far left. Another 20% (and shrinking) is sympathetic to some extent for a variety of reasons. Another 30% - 40% (and growing) is opposed. Another 30% is more concerned with Bieber and Lohan and couldn't care less.
If you said Majority of the left wing Movement, you would be more on par. The right is growing in our country. The left is shrinking.
