Occupy their home districts. Find out where John Boehner and Eric Cantor live and occupy the spaces around their homes. Hit them where it hurts, with the constituents who vote them in!!!!!!!

You don't see the effects on DC and the fear being generated by the wealthier politicians who are attacking this peaceful and positive movement that is aiming to bring back core democratic principles to our society?

Wall St is the financial epicenter of the corporate corruption that has taken a strangle hold on our government. Further more, this is a spontaneous, grass roots movement that started in New York, not DC.

Simple enough answer?

There is a protest at DC right now - my sister and niece are there.

Nothing nearly like Wall Street.

No but it doesn't mean it isn't happening.

True. But I don't see the point in protesting Wall Street. OWS isn't going to put pressure on WS. Politicians SHOULD be fearful of the protests, but they're not feeling it as nothing is directed at them.

And the politicians can avoid a protest in DC. Want to do real change - camp out in their offices when they are in DC and camp out in their offices at home when they are at home.

They'd be in jail faster than you can blink an eye. Just an FYI, here is the list of police forces that they would have to deal with in DC...

All of them have their own police/security force.
