This movement which started out with great intentions and ideals has now been hijacked by the liberal democratic professional political groups. It has underminded in the minds of many what OWS was originally about. Once again the media has come in and focused the presence of the Unions, people holding up ignorant signs demanding socialism etc. Of course being that is mostly what is being spot lighted by both the left and right wing media it has been turned into another left vs. right circus and is quickly taking away credibility of this being a 99% of the population movement. Those groups that are already immersed in their own public political movements should not be associated with this. It ends up pitting the 99% against each other in the typical Dem/Rep arguments. Honestly, I think some of these groups come intentionally just to do that and wouldn't be at all surprised if some weren't planted by the media or corporations. Do we not realize that politicians and big companies love the left/right fight. It keeps us occupied and focused on things that we will never come together on, so they have no fear of the people uniting and being heard. We're to busy arguing over abortion/gay marriage, legalizing marijuana, welfare etc, instead of focusing on the few things Americans can all agree on regardless of which way you lean. We allow ourselves to become embroiled in the endless debates on things that either side will NEVER come to agree on, so why can't we just focus on the few things like lobbying, the federal reserve, term limits etc that we ALL agree on and make changes together instead of spinning our wheels arguing over things we will never agree?

Consider the right is far to involved with misinformation and deception as a basis for their actions and will not do anything of consequence. Examine the tea party. They won't even reasonably discuss what they think they are doing.----
It's absurd that they reject Article V of our constitution, when every cause they pretend to stand for can be addressed because congress may have nothing to do with it.
Congress is very afraid of it.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Convention_to_propose_amendments_to_the_United_States_Constitution "Congress acted preemptively to propose the amendments instead. At least four amendments (the Seventeenth, Twenty-First, Twenty-Second, and Twenty-Fifth Amendments) have been identified as being proposed by Congress at least partly in response to the threat of an Article V convention."
Our first right in our contract is Article V, the right to have congress convene delgates when 2/3 of the states have applied for an amendatory convention.
Article. V.
The Congress, whenever two thirds of both Houses shall deem it necessary, shall propose Amendments to this Constitution, or, on the Application of the Legislatures of two thirds of the several States, shall call a Convention for proposing Amendments, which, in either Case, shall be valid to all Intents and Purposes, as Part of this Constitution, when ratified by the Legislatures of three fourths of the several States, or by Conventions in three fourths thereof, as the one or the other Mode of Ratification may be proposed by the Congress; Provided that no Amendment which may be made prior to the Year One thousand eight hundred and eight shall in any Manner affect the first and fourth Clauses in the Ninth Section of the first Article; and that no State, without its Consent, shall be deprived of its equal Suffrage in the Senate.
Lots of facts here about Article V. http://algoxy.com/poly/article_v_convention.html
