Forum Post: Why do those that refuse to accept the Dems, willing to accept when an R wins?

What's up with people, you know who you are, that say they can't accept the things the Dems do yet they are perfectly happy to accept a Republican in the office doing whatever the GOP does.

Now I think it's because these people care about nothing but building their very own party, and therefor these people define the words "political hack" those that would see America harmed to help their party what better definition could there be?

I think that voting for anyone other than a Kochist/corp(se)oRATist candidate - would be the best thing possible that anyone could do. If no-one votes for the selfist candidate whether that candidate be republican or not - would be the best thing - as the selfist won't get the votes. People are leaving the republican party in droves - because they recognise the the republican party/office holders do not in any way shape or form represent them.

One democratic candidate pulled out of a red state race recently this year so that another candidate would get the votes that would have gone to himself - as that other candidate had stronger support in facing down the republican running in the race and stands a very good chance at winning by a fair margin with having had the democrat withdraw from that race.

DK the GOP stand to win the Senate this year it is almost as if people are saying "I get paid too much and rich folks are too poor" but many don't know that's what they say when they vote for the GOP in part because OWS is too concerned about gripping about the Dems to tell America anything about why there is so much inequality like the special treatment certain types of income gets in the income tax system. People are always more concerned with themselves than the country folks here trying to build their own parties or even worse just bitching about a representative system setup in the Constitution and no interest in actually doing anything that would or even could change things.

[-] 1 points by turbocharger (1756) 10 years ago

"and no interest in actually doing anything that would or even could change things."

Is that why the politicians you clamor for shut the entire thing down?

You are one delusional old goat, thats for sure.

[-] -3 points by factsrfun (8342) from Phoenix, AZ 10 years ago

Turbo the Con thinks folks should not vote for Dems...what a shock

[-] 2 points by turbocharger (1756) 10 years ago

You're on a site that supports something that Democrats and Republicans shut down.

And you still come slobbering back for more.

You are literally here, on a site claiming to support it, and then telling the other people on it they should endorse the very people that ended it.

Man, you are a fuckin mess. I hope you dont live the rest of your life in such a pathetic manner.

oh he will - that is for sure. he is incapable of real thought. too bad that here at ows that we have to deal with this obvious nonsense - as you pointed out so well. but sadly it matters not how logical your argument or how simply put the poiint is - some cannot or will not see it. "there are none so blind as those who will not see!"

[-] 0 points by factsrfun (8342) from Phoenix, AZ 10 years ago

give me your logical argument for helping to elect the GOP, as you have said you do, I don't really see how that makes things better....

[-] 0 points by flip (7101) 10 years ago

straw man - weak, very weak

[+] -4 points by factsrfun (8342) from Phoenix, AZ 10 years ago

You have said yourself that your actions help to elect the GOP, just as mine help the Dems that is not a straw man that is your stated goal.

I attack the GOP and that helps the Dems you attack the Dems and that helps the GOP we both admit that, I just want to know why you help the GOP.

[-] 3 points by flip (7101) 10 years ago

now you are a liar - have you no shame?

[-] -1 points by factsrfun (8342) from Phoenix, AZ 10 years ago

It is not a lie that you attack the Dems; it is not a lie that you have said attacking R's helps to elect Dems; therefore it is not a lie that you are well aware that your attacks on Dems helps to elect Rs that is not a lie it is an inconvenient truth.

You know what you do, now I ask why do you work to elect Rs?

[-] -2 points by flip (7101) 10 years ago

oh god

[-] -1 points by factsrfun (8342) from Phoenix, AZ 10 years ago

so again, it's god that tells you to elect Rs is it? hmmmm

[+] -4 points by factsrfun (8342) from Phoenix, AZ 10 years ago

What annoys me is people who elect the GOP like you and the things the GOP does while in office that annoys me as well so as long as you are here electing the GOP I guess i will be annoying....

[-] 1 points by flip (7101) 10 years ago

[-] -2 points by factsrfun (8342) from Phoenix, AZ 10 years ago

The evil Bastards in office and running for office ( and their sponsors ) - seem to be trying their best at committing political as well as social suicide.

I think people becoming aware of the problem is causing some of them to lock down their positions, the rich are digging in for fight I think....

Wonder if some of them saw the TED TALK - The pitchforks are coming.

[-] 0 points by factsrfun (8342) from Phoenix, AZ 10 years ago

my son often says his only concern really is for the safety of the rich folks, cause things are getting bad

[-] 0 points by DKAtoday (33802) from Coon Rapids, MN 10 years ago

That's funny - is it because he is concerned that they can't do for themselves?

[-] 1 points by factsrfun (8342) from Phoenix, AZ 10 years ago

Ya know - considering world history - the USA really is overdue for it's 1st bloody purge. Probably why conservative PTB in some states are trying to eliminate the teaching of the American Revolution as well as teaching of labor riots and such things and are instead trying to teach students to be more servile.

we already have the world's largest prison population, yet many call this the land of the free, it may take a generation but it is the direction we are going

Why would anyone want to down-vote reducing prison populations?

[-] 1 points by turbocharger (1756) 10 years ago

Points in forums are a popularity contest, doesnt have much to do with the content. Try not to take it too personally.

[-] -1 points by DKAtoday (33802) from Coon Rapids, MN 10 years ago

I don't take it personally - I would rather someone made a comment saying that they don't like me rather than for em to remove from the best comment board an issue that needs to be seen. It's not about me - it "is" about the issues. Like = drastically reducing prison populations.

There are some refinements that could be made that might result in the forum becoming a useful tool, but I think it matters not at this point, I had a dream that the forum could become a sort of think tank where the best liberal minds in the nation could confer without the expense of travel thanks to the power of the web and we would overcome the paid mind assassins and build a new nation, but the folks in the park thought they were smarter than the whole nation and ignored us, so the resource has been wasted and the struggle is now a byline.

President Obama cut them off. "My administration is the only thing between you and the pitchforks," the president told them. - and why did he stand in the way - he did a hell of a job (brownie) on this don't you think. the banks have made tons of money since then. i wonder how it would have looked had he stepped aside?

[-] 0 points by factsrfun (8342) from Phoenix, AZ 10 years ago

flip could you please explain how electing the GOP will make things better?

[-] 0 points by flip (7101) 10 years ago
