Why are so many American's excusing Obama's total FAILURE as President?
MORE undeclared wars, unemployment, societal breakdown, US debt?
Obama received MORE money from Wall St than anyone - he is part of the problem !!
McCain was far worse in corporate corruption.
Think of it in terms of a "constructive motion of no confidence". When you campaign against one President another one would kick in.
Obama received more donations from Wall St than McCain.
Obama is responsible for his own term in office.
McCain is irrelevant.
McCain is relevant, because he was the other candidate and his policies were far worse, far more corrupted. Regardless which person is in office, the person cannot counter the oligarchs' influence. So better confront the oligarchs, not let them apply their good old divide and conquer strategy.
I didn't ask why was Obama elected. I ask:
Why are so many American's excusing Obama's total FAILURE as President?
He is a PROVEN puppet to Wall St.
You overlooked the "constructive" in "constructive motion of no confidence" - which person would be a better replacement? Probably Nader, but he has no chance to win the elections, under the current voting system. It is sufficient for OWS to confront the oligarchs. They are non-partisan, they only fight for themselves.
Scapegoat
if we could find a target name
we could blame the president
and celebrate when things have changed
when they really haven't
Obama is 100% responsible for his own term in office.
Yet people want to re-elect someone who is in the pockets of Wall St.
Has Obama held a press conference and even addressed his corporate donors or his ex Wall St campaign execs? Nope.
It's not about making him a scapegoat, but why is he immune from responsibility?
why is he immune from responsibility?
people are not in control of the government
I understand.
The question is posed to those on this board who think Obama is the Patron Saint of all thing pure and perfect.
They have yet to put 2+2 together and cannot quite digest/ accept that Obama was basically on Goldman Sach's payroll BEFORE he was out there selling his hope and change
The excuses being made for him are RIDICULOUS.
He's either honest or NOT.
If they don't accept Obama as the status quo then there is NO chance for the people to regain any control in govt.
People are so used to be lied to that they've forgotten what honest sounds like.
