What binds a large majority of the protesters together—regardless of age, socioeconomic status or education—is a deep commitment to left-wing policies: opposition to free-market capitalism and support for radical redistribution of wealth, intense regulation of the private sector, and protectionist policies to keep American jobs from going overseas.
There are flaws so severe with both the Democrats, the Republicans, the Green Party, the Libertarians that I could not in good conscious vote for any of the existing parties that I am aware of. I was thinking I could make an exception and vote for Obama, but today Biden announced that Obama's job package would hire more cops. I thought it was going to be infrastructure. I can't accept hiring more cops. Crime is down and cops are pointless and dangerous in the first place. It doesn't make any sense to hire more.
That sounds about right.
I don't think this is about political groups anymore but doing what is right for the people of this nation and of this world.
It isn't about labels. It's about people. Everyone of every label needs to come together to make sure everyone is taken care of, regardless of their beliefs or social status.
