Just out of pure curiosity, can anyone tell me in rough figures excactly what Bloomberg is worth. I would guess that by the 1% standards he must be pretty small potatos, but I'm also sure he has more than I ever earned in my 50 years of work (before I retired at age 64).

Tough question, it is a target rich environment...

Maybe Jeff Immelt. He probably gets billions for making sure GE pays no taxes by shipping jobs overseas.

Maybe John Kerry. After exhorting everyone to "buy American!" he had his $7 million boat built in New Zealand. That boat would have kept a New England boat building company busy for over a year.

Then again, maybe Jonathan Papelbon...

GE has done nothing illegal, but it does illustrate the immorality of a government protection racket in the form of tax incentives and bailouts.

Who among you has the spine to see the president and Jeff Immelt together and admit there is not only something wrong with the GOP, but both entrenched parties are the suckling pig for certain favored businesses.
