If you fail to institute your right not to do something unethical and illegal then you are as guilty as the company you work for who ordered you to do it. You have the right not to. They can not fire you and in fact if you carry through the task later it is a certainty they will scapegoat and fire you as well as you will end up on the news as the world shames your behavior. Please do not believe you have no choice. Employers are happy to dump their illegal immoral acts onto those who haven't bothered to understand their own rights and obligations under the law. Don't do it. My employer made me do something illegal and unethical...is no excuse.

Meanwhile & to put the above in context,
The average US rent is now $1234/month.
So for rent to cost less than a 1/4 of income,
As suggested, U need to make .. $4924/month.
At Forty Hours A Week, That Is .. $30.77/hr!
The Federal Minimum wage is .. $7.25/hr!!
This .. Is NOT A Sustainable Situation!!!
