Because staying silent, not going outside the box, or waiting for Obama is a GUARANTEE that one of the two of these is next.

Probably both, hyper leadering to WW.

“The powers of financial capitalism had a far-reaching plan, nothing less than to create a world system of financial control in private hands able to dominate the political system of each country and the economy of the world as a whole… Their secret is that they have annexed from governments, monarchies, and republics the power to create the world’s money…” .- Prof. Carroll Quigley renowned, late Georgetown macro-historian (mentioned by former President Clinton in his first nomination acceptance speech), author of Tragedy and Hope. “He [Carroll Quigley] was one of the last great macro-historians who traced the development of civilization…with an awesome capability.” – Dr. Peter F. Krogh, Dean of the School of Foreign Service (Georgetown)

Why must we have either?? And who says we aren't already gonna have both

I think we are heading towards both, but Im just trying to guage how OWS feels about the two subjects.

I think they want honest people in govt who will work at helping the country in whole instead of just the wealthy

Right. I think we can all agree what the utopia at the end is, its the path towards that Im having a hard time getting people to dicuss.

It always is.. I think the simple answer to help this country is to help each other out. Start thinking about what is best for your neighbor

RantCasey (hello cold country) that (your reply for those that might not understand the cold country reference) pretty much nails it.

Yes, if the 1% adopted this attitude towards the 99% OWS wouldn't need to exist. It's the failure of the 1% in this regard that is driving this, as it was King George's failure to redress in the 1770's.

Right, the 1% have ALWAYS had the same attitude. Its just that the 99% used to not take as much shit as they do now.

so the question is, is the country pissed off enough, as a whole, to start getting involved.

1% of the nation marching would be 3million people.

Apathy got us into this mess. Marches and tea parties are all well and good. Clearly the 99% are prepared to get involved but if OWS fails to take this to the next level, the support will fade away. OWS is in danger of losing it, time to occupy #OWS.

NGA NOW all roads lead to Philadelphia: https://sites.google.com/site/the99percentdeclaration/

BTW, I ranted about OWS's falling short here: http://occupywallst.org/forum/the-villian-ows-has-been-waiting-for/
