I picked 1980 because that is when most of the US mass shootings started happening.
Britain: 63,000,000 population / 45 deaths (plus some spree stabbings which I'm not counting) : 1.4 million people per death.
US: 310,000,000 population / 169 deaths = 1.8 million people per death.

where did you get your figures from that page? they are woefully incomplete.
