How do we take the momentum and press coverage that we have right now and turn it into tangible results? How do we find a common platform and make that platform heard? I am here with an answer. I am founding a lobbying organization designed to represent the interests of the majority. We will not assume what the majority wants or push our own ideas. We will be polling our membership to decide what the majority of Americans want. The polling process will serve two goals. First, it will enable us to find common ground. There are so many ideas and proposals coming out of this movement that it is important to find the ones that have broad backing. Supporting the 99% is what this movement is all about. Let's find things the 99% wants to get done, and then get them done. The second thing that it will do is provide important data for us to bring to Capitol Hill. Rather than simply sending a proposal forward, we will be able to attach statistically significant polling data. The only way that our elected leaders will listen is if we can convince them that if they do not listen to our proposal we have the numbers to vote them out. Come learn more about the process at www.lobbydemocracy.com. If you like what you see please let us know here so that we can rise back to the top of the list and other people can find out about us. If you have questions, feel free to either post them here or contact us through our website. Lets unify and change the way the political process works.

Greetings Folks, Please read 'The Way Forward' by the New America Foundation. It is the answer to our world's problems. There is an article about it in the New York Times called 'This Time It's Different.' It's a great article. These people are on your side, and they've got clout, intellectual and otherwise. I wish you well... John O'Grady ivanogre@gmail.com

You can also let us know what issues you would like to be considered for our opening polls. We need to create some questions that will help guide our direction.

We will be open for membership on November 6th. At that point we will start collecting polling data. Although the process of registering people and collecting data will take a little bit of time, it will be a thorough democratic method to help this movement progress. We need to utilize the technological advances that have transpired over the last 40 years.
