The recent #Occupy protests are driven by discontent with the present state of affairs: glaring economic inequality, dead-end Democratic Party politics, and, for some, the suspicion that capitalism could never produce an equitable society. These concerns are coupled with aspirations for social transformation at an international level. For many, the protests at Wall St. and elsewhere provide an avenue to raise questions the Left has long fallen silent on:
- What would it mean to challenge capitalism on a GLOBAL scale?
- How could we begin to overcome social conditions that adversely affect EVERY PART of life?
- And, how could a new international radical movement address these concerns IN PRACTICE?

The upcoming election is the event which will the largest immediate impact on 99% of Americans. This majority of Americans have access to only a small amount of information, as delivered via biased media presentation. An important need exists now, to expose information, regarding political candidates, that serves the majority of Americans by educating them to facts that are pertinent to their cause. Although I do not advocate supporting any one political candidate, it must be recognized, that there can be only one candidate that offers the greatest benefit to our mutual cause. Let us discuss the candidates, in an effort to identify whom offers the most forward momentum to our common ideals and objectives, lest we succumb to voting randomly, and thus ineffectively toward our purpose.
While voting and single-issue policy debates may seem to be the most "practical" form of politics these days, ironically (dialectically) OWS' refusal to pose any demands has allowed a space in which dialogue about real political change can take place.
