We 99%ers already possess the blueprints of our coming reign. They are the books “Looking Backward” (1888) and “Equality” (1897) by Edward Bellamy. Should someone question you about “what do you want?,” refer him or her to those two classics. If we follow their teachings, then wealth will soon succumb to commonwealth. Read…learn…and implement.
People once were turned off by the words "black," "gay" and "out of wedlock." Not so much anymore. The words you reference can likewise become accepted.
this is a very good idea. the problem you will encounter is the concepts that have been intentionally tide to words that describe by definition the platform you are trying to get across. socialism, federalism, communism, and many more. the ideas people associate with those words will immediately turn off the targeted audience.
Had the Pilgrims originally set themselves up as capitalist, not one of them would have made it through their first winter. It's easy to set up a private land ownership system when the land is hardly occupied. The operation of such a system today, though, is doomed to failure, as we continually see. The proof that capitalism is a failure is found in World Wars I and II. In those conflicts the people didn't trust the capitalist system. Instead, they had the government assume all the major (and even some of the minor) tasks needful to see each war to a successful conclusion. Had it been otherwise, the U.S. would have lost each war. Indeed, all recognized that possibility--which is why the governmental controlled systems were implemented in the first instance.
Commonwealth never works.
When the pilgrims first arrived here they set themselves up as a commune where all would share the land, work it together, and share the harvest. After those first years they did not have a thanksgiving. In fact the Plymouth Plantation is one of the most apparent examples of the failures of collectivism
Governor William Bradford eventual pushed for a system of private ownership of the land. Once implemented the pilgrims began to prosper. In a sort time many pilgrims had a surplus of resources and they began the tradition we know today.
In the United States today there are some areas that live under a commonwealth. The land is shared and owned in common. Interestingly these areas have the greatest percentage of poverty, alcohol, and drug addiction. There areas are called reservations of the Native American Indian tribes.
We need a solid plan that will both persuade the uninvolved and will answer our media critics.
No thanks, trying to quit.
No it sounds like you are going to rule me. Thats even worse than what's going on now
