What would be the ramification of a substancial lose or republican or democratic voters to primary elections?
Is there any useful outcome if this were to occure.. other then perhaps determining exactly how many american voters were actually fed up with the system?
Personnaly I'm just sick and tired of all the "followers" that we have elected that can't seem to think as an American and can only follow the "party" line.
I think you introduce an excellent proposition here; however, allow me to propose a modification. Instead of actually throwing your vote away, why doesn't OWS conduct their own mock Presidential election parallel to the actual one. If wished, the mock election could be one giant parody to illustrate OWS's frustration with the system. Show Americans and the World a novel approach to discontent. Strive to embarrass Washington with our numbers. What say ye?
There hasn't been a useful outcome yet and I've been non-affiliated since the 1990's during a time when non-affiliation reached a peak since the proverbial 'nickel dropped' and we realized Rs and Ds are just a one party two party system.
