Forum Post: what we need is a remedy not medicine for this economic malice.

Like all living things the economy will fall sick at some point of time but whenever we go and see a doctor often a medicine is the prescriptions.So when the economy is in the doldrums the government will made an economic stimulus package as the prescription as a kind of medicine as an attempt to stimulate the economy. But what about the cause that get the economy go sick in the first place? Have there been any serious attempt in to tackling the root cause of this problem before?
