I'm going to my first Occupy Miami demonstration today, and I'm trying to figure out what I should wear to make a statement tastefully. I'm not really a big fan of a costume, which I see some wearing in pictures, nor suits, which I've also heard about people wearing ironically.

I was thinking something like the shirts here: http://www.theflagshirt.com/Articles.asp?ID=139

What are you guys wearing to these things?

A Gucci bag for me. Complements anything.

Just dress nice, business casual. It demands respect from most people and it is hard for the media to make you look foolish. They always film or interview the biggest dumb ass they can find.

I agree, the best thing to wear is whatever you wear to work.

Or make your own shirt, end the fed end the wars end the income tax

  • get the money out of politics, end lobbying, end crony capitalism.

If your a dude, wear a suit. You will make a MUCH stronger statement.

Wear a suit and get beaten up? Suits are how you can tell the 1%.

If you are looking for pain, why not one of those klan hats too?
