First of all, get yourself some riot gear for protection. It's not right that you have people hitting you with sticks and battering rams and you're standing there in your jammies. Be protected. Get organized, purchase protective gear and take turns working the perimeter of the area so that the cops can't just beat you up when they feel like it. There's more of you than them. It's time to get at least sensible, if not officially organized. If you really want to "take back main street" then you better at least be dressed equally to have an equal footing with authorities. Remember the days of "officer friendly" when police officers dressed in regular clothes like you and me? Well, they're gone and until they come back you better dress appropriately so people don't get hurt. Still peaceful, just sensible.
