Hey folks, my partner and I really support what the protestors are doing. My partner was out of work for over 2 years, and the financial strain on our household was unbearable. Luckily, he recently found a job through a family connection. Seems that's the only way to get work these days...!
This means we unfortunately can't take a real part in this protest that we both support so much (we're both 2nd generation protestors, and he's an Economist!). We will be visiting this Tuesday however, and want to bring something to give to help all of you amazing protestors. Is there a donation location downtown for food, water, etc? What should we bring?
Thanks, and POWER TO THE PEOPLE!!
I think it would be a great idea to give a flower to everybody you see, and if there is a police confrontation, put the flower in front of your face and make the peace sign with the other hand.
Bring deodorant, they'll be starting to smell in that hot sun. Are your kids going to be third generation protestors?
