Boycotts and Strikes!

Keep that in the forefront. Find as many targets as possible.

Money talks. Simple as that.

Exactly! Totally agree. I'm already boycotting Wal-Mart and McDonalds Corp. and a few local businesses that pissed me off by treating their customers and employees like shit (Denny's Restaurants and Casey's General Stores) and plan on expanding my list. I'd join in a strike but, well, damn, I'm unemployed.

Yeah, I read that a few days ago, thanks for the link though. It's a good idea. I plan on shopping at all local businesses this holiday, no big box stores or major corporations.

e.g. Montgomery Bus Boycott

Some say that if you close your accounts at the big banks that they will just get bailed out again.

Maybe, but it's a matter of principle for me. When I saw people getting arrested for attempting to close their accounts at a few big banks, I couldn't believe it. I had to close mine after that, I couldn't not do it and stand by and let those people's arrest be in vain.

Targeted boycotts can be good, general strikes hurt everybody, but mostly the poor.
