If everyone rallied behind a single idea we could make it happen. Unfortunately right now we're just a bunch of people complaining without any real solutions and we look like fools to much of the outside world. With a single point of focus people would take notice. I propose the following: http://subsidizedlabor.org/ but it may be too much of a radical idea. Ending corporate personhood is another good one to focus on.
So PICK YOUR FOCUS and keep repeating it over and over again.
you are the first person I have seen, besides myself, of course, who is on target. We wrote the software 10 years ago to solve the human labor problem. the software won't create new jobs, we will still have 50% of us without jobs or work, but the demand and supply of work that is there will be communicated and transacted in minutes with the Internet system we created 10 years ago.
And yes, only two choices for those without paid work: subsidies or land to grow food or whatever.
Good ideas, but we have to go much farther. Most of us have no idea what's happening to us or how much trouble we're really in. That's why we're in this mess. We will have take extraordinary measures like never before because that's what we're up against. Protesting isn't going solve much. We better start opening our eyes up to totally new ways of thinking or we can kiss everything good-bye.
FIGHT THE CAUSE - NOT THE SYMPTOM Read “Common Sense 3.1” at ( www.revolution2.osixs.org )
end corporate personhood| end corporate personhood| end corporate personhood|
Another really stupid idea. So what would happen to those who choose not to work? How ould one differentiate between very industrious workers and those who milk the system?
Where do people get these idiotic ideas?
But I'm not going for that idea anymore (although I still think it would work)... I'm only supporting one idea as my single point of focus.

People could still get fired under the system. If you choose not to work nobody will hire you and you won't get paid anything just like it is now. In fact peoples entire work history will be tracked including reviews by employers. People will be even more accountable for their actions than they are now. It's not a guaranteed job, just a guaranteed opportunity.
End corruption and change election laws. Everyone would be behind it.
Good idea Jimboiam .... people would be behind both of those ideas but unfortunately they're completely vague. The demand has to be simple, singular, and most importantly CONCRETE.
How is Election reform to deny funding and lobbying to elected officials not concrete? Citizens need to draft the legislation, collect the signatures and get it on the ballot in every state for the next election. That's called action.
You're right, so if we all embrace ending corporate personhood (an extremely concrete goal) it would naturally include election reform because we'd now be able to write laws to restrict corporate rights. As long as corporations are considered people however this will be difficult. http://endcorporatepersonhood.us/
