What are the options then? We cannot let this die down. I still believe we need to work with what we have, holding those in congress accountable to listen to us. Using social media to keep up the message and continue our conversation.

Even if we are made to leave the parks, even if they killswitch the internet, JadedGem is right. Our eyes have been opened. They will see us at the polls, every election, every election. And we will vote the corrupt sons of bitches out. Every last politician who allows the corporations to buy his soul, every last government official who turns a blind eye to the selling out of this country, every last incumbent who returns the favors of greedy lobbyists, votes on harmful bills, or threatens our constitutional rights, will be voted out and booed out of office as they go.

I don't think its gonna go away. The politicians are fools if they think the awareness of problems will go away and people will be made to forget. There are other ways to protest. Concerted boycotts and efforts that allow single Moms and people working two jobs to participate in it will spread it to people afraid go out into the streets or just physically unable due to their location. Move your money day anybody? I think when people go home, the internet will be quite busy. If the people learn to vote with their $, the powers that be can be brought low.

It doesn't mean protest is stopped if you evict some people from a park in one city (or if they adjourn to prevent injury from the cold, or because they've outgrown the space). The tactic of physically camping out was obviously tremendously successful for OWS, but it's not the only trick in the pony. As the election approaches, the whole emphasis is boundless to change anyway - and I have high hopes for some of the component groups of OWS to break new ground where this is concerned.

Every minute you spend on Facebook you could be researching job opportunities. Facebook is a total and complete waste of time.

Even though i'm not a fan of facebook specificly. The power to connect people on a global scale is undeniably changing the world before our very eye's. It is what is fueling the global revolution.

What if the protesting stopped? World of Warcraft game sales would skyrocket and moms everywhere would be getting their basements ready.
