What does Occupy Wall Street represent? What are its possibilities? What are its main deficiencies? A Marxist perspective:
"Reflections on Occupy Wall Street: What it Represents, Its Prospects, and Its Deficiencies"
Ross, Why can't any of you socialist/marxists actually write down words and defend your position. Why does everything need to be a link to someone else's thoughts.
I find its main deficiency is a lack of understanding of economics and finance. You have very energetic, inspired group of people who only seem to know what the unions/democrat doctrine tells them.
The possibilities are endless.
I wrote the article that I linked to. I have certain criticisms of OWS, but still believe that it presents the greatest opportunity that the Left has seen for quite some time now.
I'm sorry Ross. That is a very well-written piece. Thank you for the perspective (in your own words).
Thanks. No problem.
Another Marxist Perspective http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qOP2V_np2c0 Don't be so hard on Marxists gawd, They may not offer the best solutions but they're fantastic historians.
From what I've seen being down there.... the main theme seems to be Socialism.
A little sprinkling here and there of other philosophies, but the main theme of most of the protesters is Socialism and Marxism.
we are not interested in marxism. none. at all.
