We want everybody to succeed. You know why? We want the country to succeed, and for the country to succeed, its people - its individuals - must succeed.

I agree with Rush Limbaugh, that for the country to succeed, the people must succeed. I agree, because I know that my success is tied to the fortunes of other Americans and I fully intend to advance my self interest; though I will need others to succeed, to fully realize my self interests...too bad too, I would be a great eat shareholder poo and die Capital-path, like some of the heroes of our left wing idealists here, but opportunity makes the thief, left wing thief, right wing thief, or other wing thief (?) and this proverbial thief is resigned to winning, through sharing and caring...[tear runs down eye] =)

I wish OWS followers would just say that they want to make money and be rich, since all this save the World bull is ruining a perfectly good opportunity for Liberals to just come clean and admit that they are in it for the money. Don't get me wrong, there are many talented left wing people around these parts, lacking connections and what not, but deserving of a bright career, since they are willing to work hard for a certain lifestyle. They want careers that are appropriate for their education and they want to make more money than high school drop outs. They are Americans, not cavemen.

This movement isn't about most of them starving in the street. They are greedy and they are not unlike the men and women on Wall Street. I am greedy as heck and why not? Sacrifice is for suckers. Anything worth doing is worth doing for money. Capitalism is a great thing and it is clear that there is a tremendous opportunity to create wealth for Wall Street and Main Street. Greed is not the enemy, but if people don't want greed, if they fear being seen as selfish, then they don't really need success enough and we will fail. How do we motivate men and women to invest in America, without a greedy population, looking out for number one? Can we do it through Liberal guilt? Liberal guilt really worked on the Liberal politicians supporting NAFTA, now didn't it? lol

I think it sounds nice and means nothing.

[-] 1 points by CapitalismRulesPeriod (160) 13 years ago

[-] 1 points by WorkingClassAntiHero (352) from Manchester, NH 13 years ago

Because it makes you feel good?

[-] 1 points by CapitalismRulesPeriod (160) 13 years ago

[-] 1 points by WorkingClassAntiHero (352) from Manchester, NH 13 years ago

So if I say, "you're an idiot." It obviously means that you're an idiot. I'm glad it works so easily.

[-] 1 points by CapitalismRulesPeriod (160) 13 years ago

[-] 1 points by WorkingClassAntiHero (352) from Manchester, NH 13 years ago

Well it clearly means something substantial, since I not only said it, I actually wrote it.
