Red. What is the most romantic Occupy Wall Street that you can remember and when Hollywood makes the movie will you watch it?
Vibrant ?
Vibrant, that is cool.. kinda like alive. Red is vibrant. I like it.

We are angry because we must embrace ugliness as the best moral thing to do. No one likes to march in the street repeating the bullshit we say. No one likes to restlessly sleep on the cold ground. No one wants to live in the hollywood sheen of storytelling. We don't care if you don't care. No one is going to read stories to you at night so you finally find the context we live in. Go find out. If you have no empathy for the world, let alone US citizens, you're either a sociopath or in denial. Wake the fuck up.

Empathy for the world? Really? Perhaps we should mind our own fucking business and quit worrying about the rest of the world and worry about our own society.
What is the difference between empathy with a US citizen and any other? This isn't "Independance Day" where tentacled invaders sought to destroy humankind.
Maybe those non citizens don't agree with your view of the world and how it should be. Ever think of that? Have any of you filthy Red scum EVER consider that?
We're not deciding for people when we ask how to engage them. However, we are already sadistically paternalistic in every 'free trade agreement' we uphold AS IF it benefits people abroad.
One that I can agree with. So called free trade has been a disaster for much of the world.
Why should we treat our own society society any different then our own world?
We have no right to tell others to live their lives how we think they should. We should concentrate on ourselves.
Then, what are you doing here?
Umm...trying to make America a better society. Are you saying that OWS should only be considered to be concerned with changing the whole world?
Where we can, with one stone, do so, would it be right to do otherwise?
Yes it would. Convincing yourself that your vision of what the world should be may conflict with other cultures. This is one of the biggest fuck ups with you liberal/leftists. You assume that the rest of the world wants to be just like you.
Right.. so we should not make the whole world better, pre-emptively, because the whole world might not want that.
Which just means, don't stop supporting tyrannies and slavery. Privatize every possible sector. Don't stop the day-to-day raping and mutilation of women and children. Because they should collectively decide to stand up against our guns and bombs.
They don't have police barricades. They live with a knife on their throat, you sick fuck.
You sound like an old European Imperialist. The whole "White Man'sBurden" thing. Amazing. You really think all or even most countries are like that? You really that fucking ignorant? And your way is gonna save them? As long as they obey?
They already obey oppression at the end of a gun's barell. The empire is already here. And so the question is "what do we do, now"? Not, "let's establish a new world order." That's already been done, and it benefits only those who are ignorant or otherwise malicious.
Oppression to one may be law to another. Try to look at a wider view. Those that you think are obeying the end of a gun barrel may believe that is the way it should be.
There's an empircal answer to that question.
Too many people, both on this forum and in our country at large, believe in that 'screw the rest of the world, let's just worry about ourselves.' I'm from the other school of thought. I believe what OWS does here should (and will, I think) affect the whole world in a positive way. Besides, it's the right thing to do.
