Forum Post: What about the Greenmarket on Tuesday?

I am worried about the Greenmarket vendors on Tuesday -- will all this chaos hurt their business?

What steps are planned to protect them from losing customers due to Occupy Wall Street being in Zuccotti Park? Farmers were already hurt by Hurricane Irene; they don't need to lose more business this late in the season.

Could you stop the drumming on Broadway on Tuesday so that customers approaching from the east will not feel intimidated or annoyed? Maybe move that big pile of signs on the ground so there is a walkway? Perhaps have signs indicating the Greenmarket is open, and encouraging customers to come and buy?
