Forum Post: The debate was rigged!

Jim Webb, a Presidential contender in the Democratic Party asserts the Debate in Las Vegas was rigged in favor of Clinton and Sanders. The other contenders were not given fair share of air time.

Makes me wonder why? Is Sanders really the Oligarchy's backup man just in case their darling Hag does not make it?

Then again the debate was in 'Vagas where most everything gets rigged. Truthfully, I'm was more concerned about the Pacquiao-Maywhether fight. Last I heard Maywheather shot up some illegal vitamins just before the fight.

Of course its rigged. Its all rigged. Backdoor agreements on what can be discussed, rigging the system on other contenders, etc etc etc.

They might use Sanders as a McGovern type of candidate, help get a Republican in there. Gotta keep it fairly balanced if divide and conquer is to keep working lol.

OHhhhhhh . . .. . Hellllllllllll. . . . NOooooooo . . . . did you see the debate? Webb was whining from the get go - unfair unfair I been waiting ten minutes - sob sob. This guy was Sec Nav?

But - on the other-hand yeah - they tried awful hard to push $Hillary as the winner of the debate - though the polls showed that the people thought that Bernie won.

Most of the MSM reported polls that showed Hillary won. Welcome to trying to create change within the Democrat party.

Perception is reality, and the reality is that Hillary won and increased her lead.

Sucks, but that is how it is. Ive been trying to tell this to you for a while now. Now the proof is right in front of your face. I dont think you are as blind as that looney from AZ facts, but still, how much more are you willing to be used for?

The MSM "would" report in favor of $hillary - she is the establishment candidate and MSM is establishment supporters (establishment = catering to the wealthy few).

Social media however - favors Bernie. POLL: Who Won the Democratic Debate? | Advocate.com

I agree on that, however the only opinion that matters to the vast majority of the people that actually vote from now until election day is the msm.

As long as they keep pumping fake poll numbers into the heads of Americans everywhere, when Bernie doesnt get the nod it will be no big deal. And if they do give him one, and they put fake numbers on the general election, no one will care.

Sucks but thats how it is. The D/R power brokers are very very very smart with this stuff.

The social media poll shows 75% for Bernie. CNN pulled their own poll because it also showed Bernie as the winner. MSM was wrong about $hillary and Oh-Bummer as well. The debate being broadcast only on pay to view services also removed many (poor individuals) from being able to see the debate. That the poor were excluded and the portion of the public that did view was of the better off middle class and that social media presented Bernie as the winner - BODES very well for Bernie. Especially since Bernie is seen by the poor as "their" champion in the race.

Actually it doesnt work out well for Bernie. Those without cable get their news from NBC, CBS, etc and its basically all saying Hillary is better.

You can look at AJ+ polls all you want, they are meaningless for the most part in this stuff. Listen, Im not making this stuff up, its just how it is. And its frustrating as fuck watching so many people trying to change something that was put there for repressive reasons to begin with, as opposed to simply organizing and creating their own thing.

There was a Bernie rally at Yeomans Pub the other day here in Tampa, I was there to see a friend. None of the bartenders or servers knew who Bernie was. They all knew who Hillary and Trump were (obviously) and actually some didnt know who Jeb was because they were really young when he was governor.

This is why name recognition (and msm coverage if you are a underlying candidate) are so crucial.

And I do have to say that it was interesting to listen to their reactions about the DNC corporate machine and the $$$ if the DNC decides to give Bernie the nod, other things like that that I brought up.

Yeah - sure - whatever.

So how ya doin on organizing "your own thing" ?

[-] 3 points by turbocharger (1756) 9 years ago

You can say ya sure whatever, but you know its true. You think the people that run the empire are stupid or something? You think that making sure we all play by their rules is not priority #1? That people realizing their own power is not the one thing that will fuck it up for them?

[-] -3 points by DKAtoday (33802) from Coon Rapids, MN 9 years ago

I'll take your response - as - not doing jack shit on organizing "your own thing". Not surprising - in fact - it is exactly what I expected. You = Doing Nothing.

If that is the assumption you want to make you are more than able to do that, the joys of the internet I guess. I dont actively state specifics while Im doing things regardless, but I am putting together a fundraising platform for an indie running for a small seat. Other than that, Bernie has sucked most of the energy out of the room for the time being.

But like I keep telling everyone, half of you will be back, the other half will just roll with Hillary or Biden or whoever they are told to. Only problem is that when the majority of the activists get tossed off the Bernie train, it will be too late in the election season to put together any Senate or House campaigns.

I could take your response as nothing more than actively promoting the enemy I suppose as well, although I realize you don't look at it that way.

Whatever dick head. Bernie calls for a political revolution - and - YOU try to put it down. Not surprising - nope - not - at - ALL. HRC is more your type of candidate anyway = establishment - Though - REALLY - The Donald is REALLY more "YOUR" type of candidate or even any of the other rethuglican clowns - AS THEY are the ones giving tax breaks to the wealthy and shifting the burden onto everyone else. But hey - apparently you think that you are one of the ones getting "their tax break".

[-] 3 points by turbocharger (1756) 9 years ago

Well that didn't take long to get to your usual charming self lol.

Bernie is calling for a political revolution while paling around on stage with war criminals. He's not an idiot, and I do think he is a decent guy. But if you think that is how "political revolution" happens that way, you are mistaken.

We know how it happens, we got a nice taste of it four years ago. Its why the people that put on that debate had it all shut down.

[-] 0 points by DKAtoday (33802) from Coon Rapids, MN 9 years ago

Bernie is the 1st to say he can't do it alone - He calls for the American people to unite at every campaign speech - calls for the people to unite and not just elect a president - but calls for the people to unite and elect representation in all offices.

That "is" the revolution you are looking for - RIGHT ? - the peoples representatives being elected to all offices (state and federal) - RIGHT ?

[-] 3 points by turbocharger (1756) 9 years ago

I'm not saying that I disagree with him stating that, Im saying that while he's paling around on stage with a war criminal it kind of falls on deaf ears for over 50% of the population that is turned off by these politicians, and a nice chunk of the activist crowd as well.

"We need a political revolution" Now if Bernie came out and said that these two parties are so corrupt they wont even let anyone else in here, they did a backroom deal about what can be discussed about an hour ago, etc, now THAT would be something that would be newsworthy.

It's nice to have him up there saying that stuff, and telling people to get involved, but at the end of the day he is going to pal with Hillary and the machine will keep moving along unhinged, with no real political organizing outside of the D/R racket having happened yet again.

Frustrating to say the least. But then again, humans are pretty predictable so maybe Im the crazy one for expecting something else lol.

Interesting is that Jim Webb did as you suggested; he bailed out of the Democratic party saying its all rigged in favor of the Pscyho Hag. (The Republicans being equally bad, Webb says he may run as an independant.)

I think you may be right about Bernie. He appears as the rabbit who is out to detract the serious left from organizing outside of the Demcratic party. Happens every election. Last time the rabbit was Kucinish.
