They have had their free ride long enough. If they are so good at 'creating' they should be within the work force to provide for all.

Let's force everyone to do everything we want! That's true freedom!

There is no excuse for letting anyone contribute less than they can be forced to do for the welfare of ALL.

We are all in this together, and those who can create, MUST create, for all of us who cant, so that we can all live in equality.

that did not work out so well for China. As I heard during the cultural revolution, they moved teachers into the field work and squandered an intellectual resource.

certainly field workers could be paid more and work less hours

there isn't need for excess labor hence the large unemployment

And look who we're borrowing money from now.

They have earned the right to let the "workers" do the labor. Just like when someone works his/her ass off in college and in a career and is able to retire early. It's a pretty simple process.

Clarify.

Do these individuals actually innovate and produce anymore? No. They had their one shot and whatever it was/is has become popular and now they rest on their laurels as the workers do all the labor. Not force them but cut their compensation to the point where they have to continue to progress with newer and better ideas.
