What we need is a direct action that working class people everywhere can participate in. I suggest a national/international boycott of Bank of America. They were one of the worst in the mortgage business, then they bought countrywide mortgage company who encouraged people to take out loans they couldnt afford. They received millions from the govt to assist in mortgage adjustments which they didnt do and in fact lied about documentation and had robosigning on forclosure documents. They are already reeling from their debt load and their stock is in the toliet. Putting a major bank out of business through direct action would be an incredible victory, make an example of one of the worst players and give real meaning to the movement. They can be driven into bankruptcy, withdraw your money, cut up your boa credit card, pay the minimum only on the balance each month, or refuse to pay at all, ifyou have a loan refiance with another company or consider non payment if you are already in trouble, merchants should be encouraged to refuse their checks and credit cards. Burn them to the ground (figuratively). Collective direct action can shake the financial empires to their foundations. Boycott now.
B of a probably has 300,000 workers shall we force them out of a job too?
Let them fail... Look at Iceland, they are already on the way to recovery.
Forget too big to fail. Quit printing money for the the big banks.
