We need a way to leverage the offending banks to pressure Congress into passing the proposed legislation.
Here's an idea:
Promote a national campaign that encourages people to withdraw all funds from their accounts at offending banks. Closing the account is optional, as the objective is to use significant financial leverage on the banks to pressure Congress to pass the proposed legislation. Alternate accounts can be opened with non-offending banks, including credit unions.
Steve's idea is a good one. It uses the system to bring the system into balance.
I'm canceling my Bank of America credit card.
or you can put your cash into gold, silver or platin bullion or coins which is a real inflation hedge. If the system implodes you have a good chance to save you wealth through the currency reform which is long overdue. Mathematically it,s impossible to pay back the debts because they have already reached the point of no return because of interest and compound interest.
