Forum Post: We need to go all the way with this

What’s the strategy in getting twice or three times as many people out there this weekend or next weekend than the amount of people we had in October 15? We have to understand that for these protests to work, we have to continually increase in number. My biggest worries are that people might get bored of these protests and give up, and/or that people running for office, including the president, may promise to side with our cause when in fact they will do the opposite and continue accepting donations from corporations under the rug. We can't let that happen. Our society is moving more and more towards the society depicted in '1984'.. you see our rights being taken away right in front of our eyes. These protests open an opportunity to cheat destiny and avoid 1984. We need to draw as many people as we possibly can. This isn't just a fight about the 99%, this is a fight against the corporate ghouls who wreck everything America, democracy, and the constitution stand for.
