We need OWS People running for office!!! Don't trust a politician just because he claims to sympathize with your cause.
We need people to stand up and run for office. We will be your campaign organizers. We will spread the word. We don't need to choose between the two corrupt parties... we need to displace them!
There's a long road to get there; it's paved with local action.
I really recommend that we start looking into various forms of local involvement, to build networks and trust from the ground up. With a stronger and wider base, we can come a bit closer to vetting and fielding legitimate candidates for office.

and how do we determine which ones to support? What if the candidate is conservative? or liberal? What if their personal agenda doesn't follow your ideology?
I'd hold off with the offer to organize campaigns for awhile. We're not a political party and that's the wrong way to go.
I almost ran 2 years ago but am wavering between 2 states. I don't want to give up either one just yet.
