So Cain said we are against capitalism.. Maybe, but only if you are the top 1% do you say it works. Firstly, Capitalism assumes infinite resources and that the gaining and using of these resources will not affect the environment. Secondly, it does not consider the generational effect. That is 1% breed 1%? Working? Socialism makes people lazy (not working. EU is in a worse position) , and communism makes people corrupt (Could be just the vodka)… WE NEED ANOUTHER ISM!
Peopleism. This is now my new Ism... Thanks Kazoo55!
Every successful society on earth is a hybrid of both capitalism and socialism, including the United States. Maybe we should be "hybridists".
conservatives want to conserve tradition
human culture perpetuates by imitation
one human builds a wheel; and every human around builds wheel
children repeat the action of there parents
this creates a stable social order
following the methods of the past
we preserve rule/ideas that have been successful in the past
this gives a lasting permanence to human culture
no more -isms, we just need some common sense, -isms promote "inside the box" thinking.
The system we live in is NOT Capitalism. It would be better called "Corporate Socialism," "Mercantilism" or simply "Fascism." Rule of Government by Corporations.
Not really. I want capitalism. We don't have that in this country. Capitalism rewards success, punishes failure, and prosecutes fraud. The banking industry is a disaster, yet they are rewarded with bailouts, money printing via Bernanke, and large bonuses. This is not a capitalist system. Failure is being rewarded by our political leaders.
