I think that this movement needs a name. The other side eg, (Tea party) has one, let's have some suggestions. I like "The 99' party" let''s see some more!
The 99% is our name. We are not a political party. Calling it a party could confuse people, and suggests exclusion.

the "People's Party" and everyone is invited
большевики! (Bolsheviks) It means "majority" after all, pretty darn close to the "99%" claim, but a little more accurate...

The name is Occupy Wall Street. And this isn't "the other side" of the Tea Party. This is not a partisan movement. PLEASE understand that and stop perpetuating this notion--you are only hurting our cause.
What exactly is our "cause". To occupy wall street, OK we're there now what? You must understand this an opportunity to make real changes in our society. This should be a partisan movement, a real peoples party not beholding to the corporation or the wealthy. This movement could be what saves our country. Let's not limit ourselves to just "occupy wall street". I realize that we're are in the early stages of this movement but without a plan, without structure the movement could die from lack of interest and a great opportunity will have been squandered.
I completely agree, I think we need to take a direction too. Unfortunately, I don't think it should be a left or right, dem or repub movement. Honestly, I think we DO have a presidential candidate that we could all rally behind who can restore America: Ron Paul. But as soon as one group starts pushing their political leaning, so does everyone else, and it becomes a myriad of differing opinions, political leanings, etc., and everyone just starts arguing with each other. That's the danger of making this a partisan movement. That's how the Tea Party fizzled; it was co-opted by the "big R" Republicans and turned into a political vehicle for the far right.
in google terms, +1
