Forum Post: We Must Make Sure every OWS participant is Registered to Vote!

Hi Everyone!
We must make sure every single person around the country is registered to VOTE! No matter whatever party affiliation or disappointment and betrayal we may feel for our current elected civil servants, we MUST VOTE!!! We have to remove those who do not protect our rights and represent our futures!! I live in Shaker Heights, OH and I am making sure I carry voter registration forms with me EVERYWHERE I go. We must do this in order to get peoples voices heard. And, immediately, we need to start occupying the offices of our elected representatives and senators (their local offices), and at some point, we must converge at the steps of the capital. Contact some of the leaders of the Civil Rights Movement of the 1960's. They were fighting for what we want/need now and would be a great source of wisdom and resources too!
There needs to be people out at the protests getting people registered to vote. (thanks for the idea) I always say "you can't complain unless you voted".
