It's the system that needs to change. How can you blame the banks for being greedy? That's like blaming the pedophile for molesting children or the drum circle drummer for being selfish or immature.
We need to get the money out of politics.
You need to accomplish SOMETHING to gain real traction. Glass Steagall would be a start.
Why do we currently have only one US Rep. per 720,000 people? No wonder our Reps. don't listed to us. It's not in the Constitution. Congress locked this in in 1911. This number should be reduced; this will increase democracy and decrease corruption. Plus the politicians will HATE it.
Lets hear it for Trapper John!
the DC crowd was paid by wall street to end glass siegal Government is paid by wall street not to prosecute financial fraud that caused this depression rogers just wants to blame half of the criminals the govt not the banks better economic information http://neweconomicperspectives.blogspot.com/ William Black throw out Eric Holder, Geitner they will not prosecute wall street fraud or mortgage fraud it is not a economic or political problem is is a criminal problem the crime that pays id the crime that stays
Good video.
Wayne Rogers is correct.
Question is, will anyone listen to him? Fill the Mall with his common theme and you will see something actually happen.
The protests and "occupation" should have always been in D.C..
But that would embarrass Obama. The organizers of this movement have no intention of embarrassing Obama or blaming the government for anything.
It is easier to create an external villian like Wall Street and banks. That way it will help get Obama reelected.
It is in DC.
I'm talking about the whole movement should be in D.C..
Not spread out in small groups around the country where nothing will ever be accomplished.
Things are being accomplished, actually. I'm part of a general assembly in upstate NY that's criminalizing hydrolic fracturing (fracking).
Oh really.
You actually passed a law through both houses of the legislature and the governor has signed that law?
Until then, you are just a bunch of children play acting.
Haha, so cynical. There are local, community ordinances being passed. Only 5 have been challenged out of over 100. Of those 5, 3 were upheld. Here's how: http://www.celdf.org/
Probably true....Sounds like the protests against "Too Big To Fail" are "Doomed To Fail" then.
