If anyone has any doubt about how we got to the point of protests in the street watch "Inside Job".....eye opening documentary about the 2008 financial meltdown.....that will continue to happen, over and over and over again, without regulation and reform. The S & L and Keating 5 scandal in the 70's was just a start......and the 1% keep bailing them out because that's all the government can do.........this time they screwed the global economy and it must stop! Power to the OWS movement and to us.....the 99%!!
Juniboy.... You are correct it tells the truth about what happen and who is at fault. Everyone at this protest should take the time to watch it tonight or as soon as possible! Then tell the media to tell everyone at home to watch it.
The Corporation is also valuable.
seriously guys, Watch this and these people should be held accountable for their actions. We need to proseceute them for causing this crisis
Protestors.... While you are sitting there tonight with your laptops and Ipads, download or stream the movie Inside Job. You will find your purpose in this movie and let the media know just what you stand for.
You can also read this excellent deconstruction of how we got where are today: Winner-Take-All Politics: Public Policy, Political Organization, and the Precipitous Rise of Top Incomes in the United States, available at: http://pas.sagepub.com/content/38/2/152.full.pdf
Don't forget Meltdown! http://tiny.cc/qsyzv
Great documentary explaining just how banking CEOs walked away with millions while the banks they worked for failed. It also shows just how our Washington (Elected Officials) open the door for criminal activity. I would like to know when are these CEOs going to be brought to justice. President Obama indicated that these CEOs would be held accountable. Well their accountability is way over due!
Protestors should be telling all Americans to watch this movie and then call their local representative and demand new Banking Regulation.
I watched it. It was interesting but I can see why most people would find it boring.
