Looks like Conspiracy is brewing around the death of Kim Jong-Il. There are rumors floating that he was shot by senior military staff that was forced into retirement after Kim appointed his son.

According to the newspaper, North Korean defectors doubt Pyongyang’s state-controlled media reports of Mr. Kim’s death. They cautiously suggested the dictator may have been murdered.

Let's assume Kim Jong Il died in 2002.

Several years ago, a Japanese professor wrote a book arguing that Kim Jong-il died in 2003 and had been represented by body doubles ever since.

Far fetched though. I like my friends explanation. He died of a heart attack, but foreign interests are trying to start a conspiracy in order to divide the country.

We don't know much about NK. His son was reportedly educated in Switzerland.

Bullshitting is a technique to make them speak up. In communist states like these the President is just a personality cult puppet, no ruler.

I don't know(nor care really) if it was the way it was translated into English, but I know if someone's death was explained that shadily in any other country, someone wouldn't be going home that night.

If the history of Rome is any example of a family dictatorship, I am certain there is more going on than we would see.

I'm certain with the way things were going in that government, there's a lot that wasn't seen. It's almost all new blood coming in now. There's a reason for that.

No. He had a heart attack.

And everyone was really upset, and flooded the streets crying. It's already reported that his son is going to share power with other family members. I wouldn't take their state media too seriously.

Well, we know that Kim's sister was very involved and she is the one that many people have been interested in watching.

Bad, I don't take our media too seriously, why would I take their media too seriously?
