Forum Post: Wall Street is destroying capitalism

We need to listen to all voices and let this movement evolve democratically. Just as we have gone beyond the typical Republican-Democrat, lets move beyond "right and left" or Capitalism vs. Communism. This discussion is too simplistic and its exactly where the powerful interests want us to be.

The reality is, we have not been living under free market capitalism in this country for a long time. Instead, its a rigged game where the wealthy elite gets to tilt the scales. Its socialism for the rich. I recommend that everyone watch the movie "Inside Job" and read "The great American Stickup" by Robert Scheer. Look up David Kay Johnston and read what he has written about tax policy. He documents how corporate america has been rigging the game regarding taxes for a while.

We need a highly regulated Free Market. Otherwise, Capitalism will destroy itself. That may be what we are approaching now
