Forum Post: Violence begets violence

You can not fix anything by destroying the innocent. Setting fire to cars, running though streets with hoods destroying businesses is not a protest! Look what you started?! When did we stop doing things for ourselves and start looking to the government to do things for us? Many people today feel entitled. We need, as a country, to get back to our roots - family, hard work, local community outreach. Helping each other through the worst economic crisis since the Great Depression is what we need to do. Is your neighbor looking for work? Maybe cook them a meal and casually drop it off for them. Do you know of job openings? Can you network using your contacts on behalf of you unemployed friend? How about organizing a food drive? Think about it.
