I wonder if tech ops has considered putting together something like a video conference call tool, to increase support and participation from those who don't live in close proximity (i.e. reasonable commuting range) to a GA (or active occupy group)? Also, I notice there's no outreach working group. Maybe this function can be done by other groups, but it seems to me that people nationwide who may be interested in joining this effort, could benefit from some guidance. Say a group of students at some community college is Smallville USA would like to start a small occupy group. Maybe they could hold meetings at their local library, maybe they would like to have members attend public hearings (local town councils do often allow members of the public to attend these meetings), maybe they want to distribute literature on weekends (in places people do their shopping), or whatever, but something like a hotline they can call to get advice, establish connectivity with the larger movement, etc., is I think something worth considering?
