"Us and Them" are encountered in Genesis, when Joseph differentiates government and priesthood from most others, by putting the latter into the service of increasing the wealth of the former. It starts when he takes 20% of the people's profit in times of plenty, which he sells back during the inevitable downturn. The price he extorts to save their lives with that which he'd taken from them is first their money and wealth, second their land and finally their freedom.

That freedom is the ultimate cost "They" extract from "Us" by their compound interests, taxations or other rental streams, which are the perpetual burdens we carry for the well being of the rentier class, is a lesson we haven't learned in the 4000 years since Joseph initiated "Us and Them" in Egypt.

Joseph could as easily worked for the well being of the community as that of the ruling elite parasites for whom he created the exploitative paradigm of oppression that persists after four millennia. To understand why he did as he did doesn't require much thought. Just ask any conservative: they're prepared with all manner of rationalizations to justify individual greed of the few over the general good of all.

Occasional we've had some relief. Visionaries like FDR, who gave us the New Deal, have reset the game for a while. FDR didn't go so far as Mesopotamian kings and priests like Moses, who declared regular Jubilees of debt forgiveness to mitigate the impoverishment wrought by businessmen like Joseph. But the 1930s movements did initiate the greatest and most widely distributed wealth the world has ever known. It held from the end of WWII until Nixon began to effect re-enslavement by the early 1970's. Reagan completed the groundwork of the cons that came before him. He set in motion the serious re-impoverishment that's all but complete today.

In 2017 Joseph's dreamworld of total enslavement is almost as complete as it was 4000 years ago. There's but a bit of middle class left, whose assets exceed their debts. That won't last long on the conservative toll road. The docility of people today is unprecedented. Joseph never dreamed that the slaves would be so programmed by propaganda that they'd demand and vote for the cons who oppress them, believing they're fighting for freedom. The con of cons prevails.

The story of Genesis starts with Adam and Eve devolving from hunting and gathering and ends in Joseph's capitalist dystopia. The devolution of human culture will, if unchecked, lead to the extinction of the human race. Individual greed has conquered the well being of the community. The evil of each individual seeking self interest is blind, not invisible. It brings us war, crime, environmental degradation, bankster, billionaire and CEO predations, extortionist medical and pharmaceutical industries, dual threat energy industry [economic and environmental], price gauging communication [the new tower of babel] and inefficient, dangerous and overpriced mass transportation. All that while the infrastructure that supports commerce and life itself in the 21st Century crumbles, because its principal beneficiaries avoid paying taxes, while telling us they're "smart" to do so.

You read the score! See? It's the Trumps everything versus us with nothing.

dump the trumps [not just the representatives but all billionaires] and the banksters and the rest of Wall St with them. Take out the trash.

Who will take out the trash?

Rule number two: "In Japan, men always come first; women come second."

Here's a meaty marble that rolls on the track:

God parodies the will of the ruling elite parasites that threaten the life of the human race with their greed and stupidity. It was all over but the wailing and gnashing of teeth by the end of Genesis 4000 years ago.

Christianity grew into what it is because Constantine found it expedient to use it to help to [successfully] preserve of the spirit of the Roman Empire. It lives, like the crimes of Joseph 2000 years before the Roman ascendence, to darken this very day.

"It's not accidental that Christianity grew from a Jewish sect to a great religion. There's Love that transcended and there's Love that endures!"

Ask the Muslims who endured the Crusades about that love. Ask Joan of Arc burning at an Anglican stake about it. How about Leonardo or Copernicus or Jews and Muslims in "christian" countries at the time of the inquisition. Or Catholics in England under Elizabeth or Cromwell or Orange.

Christianity died about the time Saul killed his soldiers on the mountain and came down as Paul.

The Love of the Most High One, Allah, sent the Crusaders to the Muslims to teach endurance. Amen. Allahu Akbar!

Everything is the Will of, God, Allah in Arabic, as people told me that the Judeo God, the Christian God, and the Muslim God are one and the same. The righteous ones favored by God are gathered early to His divine presence just as Enoch was. Joan of Arc was righteous, obviously, with her having been given the highest honor of becoming a virgin martyr.

Crusaders asked for guidance from:

  • Arnauld Amalric, a bishop and one of the crusade's leaders; he was asked by the soldiers how to tell good Catholics from heretics. Amalric replied "Caedite eos. Novit enim Dominus qui sunt eius"
    • "Kill them. For the Lord knoweth them that are His." For God so loved All the blessed children of the firstborn That He took them away as His very own, so that they might enjoy eternal happiness in Heaven, And the last Word shall become first on earth.

Exponential growth is never sustainable in the long term. It's fake and it's fate.

John Wayne plagiarized Arnauld Amalric.

[-] 1 points by grapes (5232) 7 years ago

It's a very ancient tradition(John Wayne acted shooting the Originals in observance of it), still observed up to today. In the Old Testament, the Israelites were instructed to kill ALL men, women, and children because the land they were on was promised to the "Chosen People." Now, that's true Faith proven in the Lord. Genocide is a Holy act. Amen. Allahu Akbar!

Eastern Europe was also promised to the "Chosen Slavic" people of the Soviet Republics. You Sir, being the "Chosen Neo," are promised all of Central and South America. Aren't you inspired by the Faith that Bishop Amalric placed in the ability of the Lord to sort out the good from the bad? God knows!

Hmmm? So how should I take:

"I'm of the opinion that driving a car while using funny mirrors which are being distorted on the fly is a terrible idea."

That's exactly what bible thumpers of the renewed confederacy have been doing to reinforce the programming of the conservative base. I want to ripen their primitive understanding. I want them to see more realistic interpretations of Jewish tales from their oral tradition that were set down by Moses 3500 years ago.

[-] 1 points by grapes (5232) 7 years ago

I mainly use that car-driving metaphor for the driving of our economy which due to the funny mirrors' being used crashed again and again. Everytime a bailout was not punished, the memory was not etched into the minds of the financial drivers so "Here we go anew!" "It's an Absolutely unprecedented and Comprehensive systemic failure!"

All of us keep on pointing fingers and being angry at each other but the ones who had created the funny money to steal labor-earned wealth from everyone who holds any financial wealth and owes no big debts. Even the Jews had remedies such as Jubilees written into their own Holy Book so who are the Jews who don't carry out what they say they believe? They are hypocrites from the Deceiver at -1.0!

It's not accidental that Christianity grew from a Jewish sect to a great religion. There's Love that transcended and there's Love that endures!

I have no hangups about its having involved sex, sex, sex because that was largely how life was made possible - one step at a time, 》vom Fickvernügen bis zum Hologeschenk!《

The "good" knowledge is of the hunter gatherer culture. Eating the fruit of the tree is a metaphor that represents the evil idea [knowledge or 'how to'] of supplanting a sustainable culture that lasted hundreds of thousands of years with one that's close to the end of a self destructive career after only 10,000 or so. By the end of Genesis, Joseph had invented capitalist slavery and sealed the fate of the human race. . . . Unless we change to a sustainable economic and environmental paradigm, we invite extinction. For more on the nuts and bolts of cultural suicide read Leviticus on debt forgiveness and Jubilee. Conservatives will never understand that they are the snake in the garden.

So, grapes, what's the point of links to the understanding of intellectual primatives? I should be obvious to you by now: I understand these things much more deeply than they ever will, unless they finally choose to open their eyes and see there are other people in the world! Solipsism produces such a lonely life. The puerile comprehension of biblical scholars doesn't impress me at all. Their heads are so far up ... Oh, what's the point? Look up the definition of idiot!

"It's the Tree of Life and it's the Tree of the Knowledge of Good and Evil."

Duh, uh!

Sustainability is the word. I know that you know that I know. Anyone who has heard the birds talk about gambling with all their lives and future offspring to migrate to greening pastures know that the time of arrival of Spring has shifted.

Then there's the Deceiver who creates credit turned into funny money which is identical to so-called real money except for the serial numbers and production information. Funny money can beat labor-generated money anytime but then the laborers are so busy that they don't lift up their heads to read the sign that says: 》Arbeit macht frei《 and understand its true meaning being located there.

The cure for the funny money was the creative destruction of wars, sadness, and deaths as most older Germans still know. I could sense that behind flip's argument for inflation was a Jew. I'm of the opinion that driving a car while using funny mirrors which are being distorted on the fly is a terrible idea. We've done that before. Why do we have to revisit that? I guess it's a new generation whose consciousness does not extend far back enough. Another reason may be inflation promoters like flip who loves the 1970's for the inflation because he probably borrowed funny money to buy a house.
