"The U.S. is the reason why the United Nations is not able to play the role its charter requires, which is to stop the scourge of war," said Bennis. "The U.S. vetoes and threatens to veto in the Security Council, and in arenas like the General Assembly or Human Rights Council where there is no veto, they threaten other countries.""

Let the US veto - the only thing stopping the UN from taking proper action - IS - the UN.

ooo a -1 - huh seems like perhaps some one disagrees. Yeah yeah - my bad - on further consideration - the UN can't be expected to do a damned thing without the USA's explicit approval - OH - and Military. Why is there a UN again?

oooooooooo a negative 1 on my comment about receiving a negative 1 on my original comment about the UN being basically spine less and use less and more than a bit cowardly - letting themselves be cowed by the USA.
