The unholy nexus between Wall Street and our government, particularly the Federal Reserve, is the bane of Main Street. The Federal Reserve has become an offline plutocracy where a cozy club of Wall Street insiders and crony government bureaucrats hold sway over the monetary system of this nation. The Federal Reserve is essentially a fourth branch of government that is largely unaccountable to the people. The Fed took care of Wall Street before Main Street because the bankers are sitting right there at the table suggesting what the Fed should do.
