I just came across this if you haven’t seen it, it’s worth a look:
I tried this once; I protested employment for nine months. Really, the more people told me to get a job, the fewer applications I filled out. It eventually morphed into total protest. Because I figured, well, if I keep filling out applications, sooner or later, I'll probably get hired and then I'll probably get fired and there's no future in that. Then I got hungry, cut my hair, and got a job. I've never looked back - who does? - but to this day, I'm not certain it was a wise decision.,
life happens in-between....

Yea, the point is these anti-job protests may be in direct response to those establishment types who keep telling them to get a job. It is a serious problem today because people really do feel "entitled."
