I'm not terribly keen on the idea of celebrities running for government because they can get elected based on popularity even if they have no genuine interest in making tomorrow better than today.
However, a chap named Mark Berry (aka Bez) has decided that he wants to do just that and said something that everyone here should pay attention to...

hey penston, I have not seen any answers to my questions on fiat currency. did I miss something? if you remember I had 3 fairly simple questions - one about the effect of inflation on the wealth of the country over the last 100 years. the next two were about how an economy on the gold standard would function. has your thinking on the subject changed?

oh, never mind. I just went back to the original post - the fed vs bitcoin and reread your responses to what I wrote. we re both wasting our time. you seem to have what is called a religious argument - you want to believe your ideas are correct and take them on faith. no amount of reason can change that.
