We have been working to get a solution off the ground that gives anyone who can drive the ability to work for themselves.
Protesting can still go on, but why not we try to DO SOMETHING about it rather than just Protest? If you're serious about working and can drive, follow http://twitter.com/#!/InEarth_com .. That's all.
One day, we'll be able to help solve the unemployment problem!
This movement is gaining momentum every hour. I can drive and have a vehicle as well.
Canada?... umm.. I'm originally from vancouver, and I've been to toronto... Would a service like this help in a big place like toronto?
The service is similar to a taxi..
I can drive what's the job
It is similar to a taxi, but anyone can drive. We will put the power in your hands as a driver to make money for yourself driving people around. It's a job.
tried taxi before
didn't make minimum
You'll be able to make up to $60/hour with this.. upto.. but it all depends on how many drivers we can get.. Are you really serious about working? You sound like a guy trolling.
I'm not working for the pyramid scheme suggested
What pyramid scheme you moron? I don't make a dime off this... I have a well paying job as an engineer.. fucking moron.
I love a boss that calls me that
You're just a troll... a sick troll looking to cause problems rather than help.. How do you sleep at night?
I didn't sleep thursday night arguing property rights over Zucotti park
If you're under the impression that there are people on this forum who are looking for jobs, you're sadly mistaken. I came here a week ago thinking the same thing.
lol I have to agree with you. I have posted links to job corps , monster , craigslist , and other as well have tried to help these people that complain they can't get a job , or there is no jobs. Not once did I get "thanks! I'll check it out I really need a job." It went ignore. When others said something to them they were met with excuses.
You seriously expect people to trust some random troll on the internet is good for a decent job? Identity theft, much?
Anybody capable of doing what I'm looking for will get past that easily. Let me know if you meet anybody who can build a web site who wants a job around here. I've kind of stopped looking. And you're the guy who demonstrated aggressive ignorance with me recently, and that's not a trait that I'm looking for at all, so obviously not you.
Can build a website . :) But I don't need a job.
If you ACTUALLY want to talk economics, I'm game. Unfortunately, you don't seem to know any, so... I'll just warn people who might be desperate enough to send you any personal info. Troll is as troll does.
Stray doesn't want a job...
That's right, talk everybody down to your level. Don't encourage anybody to apply for any jobs. Better that way, if the bar is lower.
Actually I was hoping for an actually intelligent economics discussion, but instead the ad hominems are blooming. I stand behind everything I've said. If you don't believe in a truly "free market" that is your prerogative.
Still, trolling OWS for a web designer is pretty pathetic, whether its legitimate, or whether you're an information thief.
That's what I'm seeing as well.. it is really sad since we spent 2 months creating this thing and for what?.. people that would rather fucking protest than work!
I showed up here with job offerings available too. High-paying, high-skill jobs. With pointers to free vocational training that would qualify anybody for one of them. And I also found people who would rather protest than work.
Which makes you wonder....what if they are getting paid to sit on their asses and do nothing all day but act indignant! Sorry dude, but I think someone beat you to the idea of hiring these people....months ago.
Check this out, it's unbelievable. This guy turned down an entry-level job because it was beneath him, and chose instead to protest against unemployment. One of the things that he's protesting is that innovation is eliminating low-skill jobs. Even though he has computer programming skills.
And they wonder why this movement has so little credibility....
I didn't come here as a troll. Really, I swear. I came here with an open mind, but then I found a lot of stuff like that. And a lot worse, in just a week. I made a collection of some of my favorites. Check it out some time for entertainment.
I'm looking to help people and I'm hitting a wall EVERY TIME... I'm sick of this shit!.
Yes, I do know the feeling.
