I was leaning towards Rocky Anderson but the program picked Gary Johnson at 91%. What was yours?

Test might be biased on Economic issues. I came up 89% Gary, 79% Jill, and maybe 77% Rocky. My complaint is that I know Libertarians don't know the Economics of the Depression. I don't think I could vote for Gary since I know RP was talking about the Gold Standard and Cutting the Budget and doesn't seem to understand that cutting the budget would be Austerity and Recession. Or more recession...

So I've been thinking Jill anyway up to now. But there were so few questions on the Test regarding the Economy not sure it was covered well enough.

Yes, I agree austerity would be a disaster economically. It sounds like the proper thing to do but deprives those with the least reserves.

Did you try clicking on each of the candidates name to see exactly how their views matched with our own?

No, I saw a lot in common with them all based on some of the link or tags by issues though. Other than Austerity, all of the third parties are going to be very good fits with me.

That's a pretty cool test. Everyone here should try it just for fun. I was leaning towards Rocky for next Tuesday, but my results had him third, Jill first, Gary second. Interesting.

Damn. Forgot to save my results. It's worth playing with again, so I'll probably go back to it.

Lol. That was very cool. I didn't want to spend an hour on it but I could have. Jill Stein 91%? I'm surprized.

I got 97 Jill, 84 Rocky.

This should be available to all the voters.

Jill Stein, hmm... Oh noooze I'm one of those libruuuulls!! I'm going to steal all your money!!!!

[-] 2 points by gnomunny (6819) from St Louis, MO 12 years ago

Yeah, oh well. I skipped a few questions 'cause I wasn't properly schooled on the issues. Maybe I'll go thru it a few more times and lie my ass off until it comes up Rocky. Just kiddin' That would be like cheating at solitaire.

I was honest, and got gary and jill tied on 81%.

[-] 2 points by gnomunny (6819) from St Louis, MO 12 years ago

I was 87% Jill, 77% Gary. Forgot Rocky's number. Didn't save my results, damn it.

They did a mock debate in UConn, with the students studying the candidates and then had a debate. The students didnt konw who was who.

Needless to say, after voting afterwards, Rocky won hands down.

Mine came back GJ too, which is odd because I would like to see medicare for all, and GJ wants it totally gone.

Did you adjust the level of importance things? That could have a lot to do with results.

[-] 3 points by hchc (3297) from Tampa, FL 12 years ago

Ya, but GAry, Rocky and Jill were all within 3% points of each other.

[-] 1 points by jrhirsch (4714) from Sun City, CA 12 years ago

Under the output with each candidates name are the issues that most closely match your own.

[-] 1 points by stevebol (1269) from Milwaukee, WI 12 years ago

To the left of every Q is an adjustable meter that say's 'how important is this to u'.

[-] 1 points by jrhirsch (4714) from Sun City, CA 12 years ago

Yeah, It was mentioned in the post.

More establishment garbage.

[-] 1 points by jrhirsch (4714) from Sun City, CA 12 years ago

Could you elaborate?

[-] 0 points by Futurevision1 (-75) 12 years ago

Every question was geared to the establishment/status quo.

[-] 1 points by jrhirsch (4714) from Sun City, CA 12 years ago

You can set the issues you find least important by sliding the buttons next to each question to the left.

[-] 0 points by Futurevision1 (-75) 12 years ago

Yes. And your point?

[-] 1 points by jrhirsch (4714) from Sun City, CA 12 years ago

Setting the issue importance will make the output favor issues you are concerned with.

[-] 0 points by Futurevision1 (-75) 12 years ago

But it still only deals with established political parties.

Look on the internet and find a program you like.
