Forum Post: Trolls or no Trolls - The real power of this Forum is evidenced here

There are a tremendous amount of people dedicated to minimizing the positive impact of this forum. However, the real power of this forum is bringing together people who would normally NEVER meet, through rational conversation. Please read the exchange below between someone on the other side of the country, and myself. It has been a tactic of those in power to control the flow of information to the public in order to further a particular agenda. Evidence of this can be cited throughout our nations history, but especially throughout the last 150 years. Despite their efforts, through the power of the internet the conversation is growing. The flow of information can no longer be completely contained. I can provide no better evidence then the following conversation. No amount of negative postings will be able to prevent this from happening elsewhere:
